Knowing only that he wanted to be an engineer of sorts Dave attended the University of Illinois working towards a degree in General Engineering. It was here that large auditorium sized lecture classes reminded him how much more fun games were than school. One class, however, stood out amongst all the others. This class was his Introduction to programming class where he had his first brush with C. With a newfound passion in programming combined with his love of games it was only a matter of time before he decided what he really wanted to do was program video games. In 2003 he decided to change focus and schools by attending Full Sail: Real World Education where he got an associate degree in Game Design and Development.
When not programming games Dave is probably playing them, however, on rare occasions such things as sleep, snow skiing, and paintball work their way into his agenda also.
