Grant
Kirkhope
Audio Director

Grant was born in Edinburgh, Scotland a long time ago. After leaving music college, he played in lots of different bands to varying degrees of success. Grant toured as the opening act for Van Halen, Bon Jovi, and Bryan Adams amongst others, and Eddie Van Halen actually gave him one of his guitars—which is of course, his prized possession! He eventually had to get a "proper" job and managed to convince Rare in the UK to hire him. He spent nearly 13 years there and was lucky enough to get to create audio on some great games including: GoldenEye, Banjo-Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, Banjo-Tooie, Perfect Dark 64, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Viva Piñata, Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, and finally, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. Grant moved to Big Huge Games in August of 2008 and has discovered that it's a great place to be, but nobody seems to be able to understand a word he says. You just can't win!
