Hooked from the first time he played Pitfall and obsessed since the first time he saw Smash TV, Alan always knew gaming was the place for him. Alan got his “foot in the door” through the QA department of MicroProse, where he also had the opportunity to contribute artistically to Civilization II: Fantastic Worlds. Looking to further his career as an artist, Alan moved on to Day 1 Studios where he spent eleven years honing his craft on a number of console titles including Missile Command, MechAssault, MechAssault 2, Fracture, and F.E.A.R. The majority of Alan's career has been spent creating character art and animation, which has nicely supported and fueled his passion for characters.
When he’s not sculpting horrifying creatures or muscular men in their underwear (all part of the job), Alan spends most of his free time with his wife and two daughters. He also tries to fit in healthy doses of horror movies, Brian Keene novels, comics, and any kind of video games whenever possible.
