Big Huge Games is seeking a self starting and detail oriented individual to fill an open QA Tester position. The QA Tester will work closely with other testers and developers to ensure our projects are exceeding the quality bar! The ideal candidate will posses excellent writing skills, extreme attention to detail, a technical and problem solving mindset, and the ability to understand the differences between playing the game and testing the game! This is an onsite temporary position. Telecommuting and internships are not available.

Responsibilities:

Verify daily builds of the project(s) to ensure continued playability and workflow
Create, edit, verify, and run test cases
Continuously test the project(s) for bugs, crashes, etc

Skills and Experience:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to fully understand the difference between playing and testing the game
An exceptional eye for detail
High level of motivation and a self starting attitude
Excellent organizational skills
A passion for games, gaming, game development, and everything in between
Ability to work long/odd hours when necessary onsite at our studio in Timonium, MD

Pluses:

Previous testing experience (alpha/beta tests, etc)
Technically proficient with hardware and software
Programming knowledge (C++, C#, LUA, Jscript, etc)
