We're looking for an experienced, talented, and enthusiastic Cinematics Designer for our upcoming RPG. Applicants should be passionate about games and movies, and interested in working in a fun and energetic team environment.

Responsibilities:

Working with the Cinematics Director, Animation Lead, and Designers on the creation of cinematics (This includes both story driven cinematics as well as certain elements of game play that require a cinematic presentation.)
Creating LUA scripts to control action and event flow in cinematics
Working with the tools and technology team to ensure that the tools have the necessary functionality to build AAA cinematics
Creating necessary documentation
Ability to visualize a scene using scripts, storyboards, and animatics, and then use Big Huge's tools to translate these into real-time sequences
Technical competency that is sufficient for some understanding of the game engine and the requirements for creating content

Requirements:

Must have three or more years of game industry experience with one or more years as a lead in game development or related field
One shipped title as a Cinematic Designer
Strong understanding of cinematic principles (camera direction, editing, etc.)
Strong scripting knowledge (LUA a definate plus)
Familiarity with game design and programming as well as the ability to communicate and coordinate with either
Strong time management and organization skills with a proven ability to prioritize, solve problems, and meet deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
